and First Fridays is a perfect example! Xenia has been an established community for over 215 years. In those years she has seen highs and lows but one thing is for certain: Xenia has always had a great sense of community. Whether it be citizens wanting more for our fine town or people pulling together to try and make a difference, many of us feel a sense of home with the word 'Xenia'. Because of this our First Fridays committee tries to create an event that promotes our home, helping in a tiny way to make Xenia a better place to work, live & play.

Downtown Xenia has a vibrant past and we believe in its future! In 2009 a group of awesome downtown merchants started First Fridays in hopes to get people to notice our unique and amazing downtown and the great things it has to offer. Shops stayed open later and gave us a chance to experience the charm of our forgotten downtown. Now in our 12th season, First Fridays has grown into a celebration of what has remained Xenia's core for almost 215 years. First Fridays invites people to come and experience downtown Xenia in hopes to promote continued growth and bring some enjoyment to our fine city... COME JOIN THE FUN!
